Our tattoos are classified as semi-permanent tattoos, which are still temporary tattoos because they fade away completely. The difference is they last much longer and look/feel more realistic than the temporary tattoos we had as kids.

The technology behind our ink is truly groundbreaking and it amazes anyone who tries it for the first time!

🌿 EasyTatt™ Plant-Powered Tattoos™ harness natural juice from the Genipa Americana fruit, which contains a compound called genipin. When applied to the skin, genipin reacts with the amino acids in the top layer of the skin through a natural oxidation process. Over 24–48 hours, this reaction develops into a deep blue-black stain that closely resembles the colour of a real tattoo. Because the stain forms within the outer skin layer rather than sitting on top like ink or paint, it looks natural and lasts until the skin naturally exfoliates.

🌿 Our Plant-Powered Tattoos™ typically last 9–15 days before fading away completely. The active ingredient in our tattoos develops in the top layer of the skin and gradually fades as the skin naturally exfoliates.

Longevity may vary according to placements, skin types, and aftercare. Areas with more friction and frequent washing may fade a faster.

Of course. It is physically and scientifically impossible for our tattoos to remain on the skin beyond the estimated timeframes. Unlike tattoos applied with a needle, our ink doesn't penetrate below the first layer of skin, making permanence simply impossible.
